Parent’s Corner
As parents, we all have seen our fair share of children’s movies. I don’t know if you can recall a scene in the movie “The Jungle Book” where the snake sings the classic song “Trust in Me,” but that is what we all do when we leave our children in the care of others. As parents, we place an extraordinary amount of trust in people that we hardly know. At Sunshine Daycare Center, we don’t take that responsibility lightly and we put forth every effort to earn your trust. In addition, we have a proven track record of providing a healthy, safe and clean learning environment for all children including those with special needs.
Creating a Partnership
In order for any relationship to grow there must be a healthy communication system. We acknowledge that a large part of our success is directly related to establishing a partnership with each family. We align our priorities with you around the basic premise that we want the best educational experience for your child. Our staff provides parents with informal communications of how their child interacted with other children during the day and how they participated at circle time. We also offer parent and teacher conferences to discuss how a child is progressing in our program.
Open Door Policy
We have an open door policy which means that you or any authorized person can visit the center any time during business hours to see your child or to address any questions or concerns that you may have. Some child care providers require that you call before you come or you can only visit your child during designated times or with an appointment.
Easy Enrollment Process
We have removed all significant barriers to the enrollment process. We require parents to complete the necessary enrollment forms and pay a nominal registration fee before selecting a start date that is convenient for you and your family. We have a pay as you go system; as long as you maintain a current payment status then you and your family will have complete access to our services and program. Client Referral Program
Sunshine Daycare Center and its staff have received numerous thank you letters and appreciation cards over the years from parent or guardians that express their satisfaction with our service. We are extremely grateful to our parents for keeping us in mind when someone inquires about their child’s education and development. As a display of our gratitude, we issue a tuition credit or cash payment to parents who refer new clients to us.
